Thank you for visiting Epilepsy Niagara!
As part of the Resilient Communities Fund grant we received, we had the opportunity to hire two individuals, Anielle Beaulieu (Community Impact Coordinator) and Linda Warren-Camus (Social Media Coordinator). With their hard work and dedication, they have been instrumental in our collective success.
We are sad to announce that the two-year Ontario Trillium grant has ended and we want to give a huge thank you to Anielle and Linda for their hard work and dedication in rebuilding Epilepsy Niagara’s core foundation. By doing this, we are stronger as an organization to help individuals and their families with coping with the many challenges that epilepsy can bring.
The Ontario Trillium Foundation (OTF) is an agency of the Government of Ontario, and one of Canada’s leading granting foundations. OTF awarded $108 million to 629 projects last year to build healthy and vibrant communities in Ontario. We are proud to be among other outstanding agencies receiving funding and are grateful to the Ontario Trillium Foundation for their support.
Another wonderful and vibrant individual connected with us in 2023 to raise awareness of epilepsy in March and has since become our newest Board member. We invite you to welcome Dr. Stavroula Morfidis, D.C to our team! We are so excited to work with her to increase awareness of epilepsy and dispel the many misconceptions this condition has.
